We all have something we wish we could change that we aren’t fully content with. It might be a health problem (mental or physical), or it may be another trial you are currently facing. It could be something like financial independence, or the background you grew up in, or the talents and traits you don’t have that you wish you did. M
The possibilities are endless when we think about the things we want to change. When we think about the things we wish were different, our minds can often get discouraged and down in the dumps, thinking it will never happen or it’s not worth trying now. That’s the way Satan wants us to think. If Satan convinces us that there is no use in trying now or change isn’t possible, he rejoices with joy because misery loves company. Satan can’t change, he’s limited because he doesn’t have a physical body. He doesn’t have access to the atonement as we do.
CHANGE isn’t that a really exciting word?! When I think about the word change, I become SO EXCITED because of how real and possible it is. However, when we want to change, we can’t just simply change. We can’t wave our magic wands around and have everything fall into place just like we want. It doesn’t work like that! Change is an action word, and it requires the use of Christ’s atonement. How wonderful and all-encompassing His atonement is. How beautiful that change is only made possible through Christ. If we didn’t need Christ to change, then we would be limited by our capacity, our age, our knowledge, and our faith.
Because of Christ, because of His love, His grace, His sacrifice, His infinite love,
You are BETTER than you think you are, and yet you aren’t limited in who you are right now. You were born to be great! Don’t you dare let anything stand in your way of changing what you want to change. Don’t change for anyone, change for you! Change for Christ. Invite Christ in and become the person God sees in you by doing the small things at the start.
It will be easy to make excuses, you will be tempted to think it’s too late or there is no point. Start where you are! Christ takes away the gaps we feel are overpowering our lives. He makes the impossible become possible.
Opportunities surround you every single day, look to God and live!A

Take 6 minutes out of your day to watch this motivational video, or have it play while you’re driving and just listen! Motivational videos are my favorite when I need a simple pep talk and reminder of what I’m capable of. Don’t listen to the enemy, he only wants to bring you down and you are so much stronger than that!
